Goran Custom Guitars, a small boutique guitar company, was a pleasant surprise for me when I tried their products on the Guitar Expo in Belgrade 2010. Goran seems to be a great guitar tone enthusiast and perfectionist. The “Fat boy” is a great guitar pedal with two modes of drive that’s saves the day or night, regardless of the amp you plug in and play...Very smooth and creamy sounding. The Guitar pickups are another story. I installed his ’59 PAFs on one of my Les Pauls and the result was amazing. The sound became clean and balanced with a great transparency, with a musical not just electrical output. I wish Goran a great success in his search for a great guitar tone!

This is the most quiet, smooth and controlled overdrive Ive ever played...very fat but not to fuzzy and not noisey...when switching from the overdrive to the solo mode there is not a giant volume boost but a drive boost... this has always be... en an issue for me when running to overdrives... this does exactly what I've strived to make 2 pedals do for so long...The "Fat" mode is pure "Eliminator" tone and the "Vintage" mode is very plexi/greenbacks tone...Goran is a Master builder and tech as well... This boy knows his stuff... He worked on all my Gibsons in Belgrade... I call him the "Serbian Sammy Sanchez".

Šta reći o Goranu, a da to ne bude reklamna floskula koja uvek može ostaviti dozu sumnje?
Poznato je da posedujem kolekciju poznatih svetskih brendova kao i ručno rađenih gitara. Praktično od 2007 godine moj bazičan instrument postaje gitara koju je Goran napravio za mene (zove se Ivona kao i moja ćerka). Od 2009 zvučna slika je dopunjena još jednim istrumentom (bigsby telecaster). Uz podatak da su gitare opremljene Goranovim pickupima i da se u mom pedal board-u nalazi pre-amp Fat Boy Overdrive (isto Goranov proizvod), moj sadašnji zvuk se u potpunosti bazira na njegovoj kreaciji. Dodao bih samo da je to rezultat ne samo pukog slučaja, već dugotrajnog razmišljanja, konsultovanja, rada, realizovanja jedne ideje i na kraju zvučne slike koju smo hteli da dobijemo. To bi trebalo da bude osnovni smisao hand made istrumenata, posebnost i lični pečat za onog ko ih koristi. Sve ovo je reuzultovalo time da danas imam svoj, autentičan ton! Kreativnost, pedantnost, spremnost za konstruktivan razgovor i još mnogo toga pozitivnog, čine ga čovekom koji može postići velike stvari, što mu od srca želim.
